Mini-Lab

The Oregon Round Dance Teacher Association, Inc., is pleased to sponsor a ROUNDALAB Mini-Lab to be held July 15-17, 2008, in McMinnville, Oregon. There will be a Trails-End dance on July 14. The clinicians for this Mini-Lab will be Karen and Dick Fisher. To register, please print and fill out the registration form portion of the flyer.

What is a Mini-Lab?

A Mini-Lab is a miniature ROUNDALAB (RAL) Convention by The International Association of Round Dance Teachers, Inc. for Round Dance Teachers who possibly cannot attend a national RAL Convention for various reasons or who live in an isolated area where there is no one to go to for training or help. Mini-Labs are primarily designed for teaching of Round Dance Teachers rather than how to dance. They are designed to improve the attending teachers' ability to teach and become familiar with the structure, purpose and functioning of RAL. The contents of a given Mini-Lab will be determined by the Mini-Lab Coordinator and the clinicians based on the suggested topics from the Mini-Lab Application and those topics that the Board Of Directors (BOD) have indicated should be included in all Mini-Labs. Mini-Labs are open to RAL members, non-RAL teachers, and those interested in becoming Round Dance Teachers.
